Notice of Filming & Photography
Photography and video recording may take place during live music performances, special events, venue promotions, restaurant and bar operations, social media content creation, and professional photo and video sessions at Lou's Blues Bar & Grill.
How Media May Be Used
Approved content may appear on Lou's Blues websites, social media, event promotions, and advertising — but only where the business has the necessary rights and permissions. We distinguish general event documentation from commercial promotional use, which requires additional consent.
Your Likeness Is Not Automatically Licensed
Entering the premises does not automatically grant Lou's Blues unrestricted, perpetual commercial use of your likeness. For identifiable promotional use — such as featured marketing photos, testimonials, or staged content — we obtain a signed media release. You can complete one on our Digital Media Release page.
Asking Questions & Raising Concerns
- Ask any team member about recording happening at the venue.
- Raise privacy concerns with staff or by emailing lousbluesbargrill@gmail.com.
- To request review or removal of a published image in which you are identifiable, contact us at the email above with details so we can investigate.
Minors
Special handling applies to minors. A parent or legal guardian must complete the media release and provide authorization before any minor is featured in promotional content.
Performer & Photographer Permissions
Permission to photograph a live performance does not automatically include the right to record or distribute the music itself. Hiring a photographer does not automatically transfer copyright ownership to Lou's Blues. We document performer permission, photographer copyright and licensing, approved usage rights, photo credits, license expiration, restricted content, and takedown requests through our administrative workflow.
Copyright & Licensing
Photography and video created for Lou's Blues is owned by or licensed to the business per the terms agreed with the creator. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of protected materials is prohibited — see our Terms & Conditions.
